Coronavirus: Schools In Awka, Anambra Closed (Photos)

Schools in Awka, the Anambra state capital have closed following the directive by the Anambra state government, in order to prevent an occurrence of Coronavirus case in the state.

When IgbereTV reporters visited some of the schools, pupils and students were seen going home, while others were playing. Parents and guardians were also seen taking their children and wards home.

The Anambra state government had earlier informed all schools both government, mission and private to close for academic activities from today Monday, 23rd March, 2020, as one of the measures to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.
